Issues with the forum

I've documented previously that deleting my posts is not always possible.

In my post just a few minutes ago regarding leather types i was unable to add an image. The 'red box' didnt expand. Why i suffer these frustrations i dont know.

I keep finding myself logged out too. :x

Did the ‘Add Files’ above ‘Post Reply’ not work? It should ask you where you want to add the file from?

The Add Files tab turned red but after that, nothing happened. More than once.

OK, on my iPad it opens a pop up box asking where to select the file from. Does your browser have a pop-up filter set that might disable that?

I thought i would manually log out and log back in to see if that would fix the image loading issue.

I was met with You were not logged out as the request did not match your session

WTF is that all about?

I’ve flagged it to the Admin so we’ll see what he thinks.

Are you in the UK, overseas, and might you be using a VPN (such as NordVPN)? Just trying to eliminate what is that’s going on.

I had trouble when accessing the Forum from France last Summer. Some times it was fine, other times I got odd messages and even refused access. None of it made sense, but was annoying nonetheless.

I was abroad for a couple of months recently.

I just had to log in, was it you 'ejected' me? Ill try uploading an image here as a tester.

Well that still doesn't work.

add files, go to library click an image, then done, but it doesn't load here Frustrating!

I don’t have the ability to ‘eject’ anyone AFAIK.

Have you tried a different browser? I use Apple devices and occasionally Safari won’t play, but Firefox will. It fells like a local permissions (as in a blocker within the Android or browser system) issue or bug in the DuckDuckGo app. Not using either I can’t check, and Apple force all browsers to use their core software.

I’m not aware that Sp3ctre (Admin) has made any changes to the Forum either, and it’s just affecting you, or at least no one else has reported anything. I’ve PM’d him to see what he thinks, and pointed at this thread.
