Back up camera continually +12power HELP!!!

Hi there I have installed an ebay back up camera on my bmw X5 e53 2005 with a 12v 30amp relay.
power+ comes from the pdc pin 7 to the relay and from the blue plug pin (+)1 and (-)10 to the camera.I have checked the camera with a voltage tester and noticed that the camera is supplied all the time with +12v.Is that dangerouse or wronge.
apart from that the camera works just fine.

I ran a feed from the reverse light with no relay.
Working for over a year now with no problems at all.
