Rear suspension sagging

Every morning my X5 is sitting slightly low at the back (about 1").
E53 rear self levelling only.

Upon starting I can hear the compressor running for approximately 30s and everything is fine, car levels correctly - no warning messages or anything.

Suspecting a slight leak in the system I inspected all the lines and replaced one of the air springs as that side was dropping slightly more. This has made little difference both sides still drops about 1" overnight. Is this normal?
If the other air spring had a slight leak I would expect that side only to drop as the solenoids in the pump should isolate the left and right sides?

Any thoughts please before I purchase the air spring for the other side.

Thanks

Ben.

Does sound like the valve block in the compressor housing as above. Worth checking firstly and is a relatively cheap try too.

Something else to check...
I was told that a wire failure in the trunk some where around the spare wheel is some times the problem and will knock out the lift pump, leaving the lowering pump wires to work only & sink the rear down.
Apparently the insulation wears thru.... may be worth a peep, the engineer I talked too seemed to have fixed several of these issues from the tyre well wear issue !
