Hi this is not strictly for the x5 forum but thought Id ask here as I know some of you have other vehicles.

I'm considering adding to the fleet and getting another car and today saw at a local indy dealership a 2004 plate 530 SEi petrol with 76k on the clock. eemed to have plenty of extra including heated seats and steering wheel. A cursory glance suggests that wheel/tyres/bodywork appear in good condition and it comes with full MOT

It was £6k. Im sure I could get them down but I think that is a little expensive when compared to say looking a private sale on ebay although I appreciate their is a difference between private and trade sale

Thoughts?

I had a 2004  E60 530 I SE. I traded it in for the X5 in November 2011. It had 101k on the clock, FBMWSH
Comfort seats, black perforated leather. Dark ash wood trim  instead of the usual aluminium .
Sat nav heated and cooled seats PDC, CD changer ex BMW car and 1 previous owner, spare wheel, 18" alloys, I fitted non Runflats, and put a set of ACS rims on her. 22mpg urban, managed 36 Mpg on a run to Italy and back. Average combined 26 if careful
huge boot, plenty of room inside, lovely motor. Got 5k PX against a 55 plate X5. I regretted selling her actually

Just had a look on piston heads and a few 530 but all more money even 525 are more.

So depending on condition and assuming everything works esp the electrics then it sounds ok and with a dealer you do have some come back.

Remember its Xmas and winter and less cars are sold so bargain hard as dealers want that sale
