Time for an intermediate oil change. 5w30 was used last time and many on here recommend that. But Castrol and various other suppliers recommend 0w30. At our uk temperatures, does it really matter which is used?

There was a time when 0w30 was being used but now BMW use 5W30 and have for a little while.  It probably doesn't make a huge difference.
