Now that the irritating, painful elements of the E70 are hopefully resolved. Its time to have some fun with it, based on it ultimately being exported.

I fancy adding one of these really loud so called bull/train horns, an LED light bar in the front bumper recess (below the grills) and possibly some other items. Frowned on here perhaps but not in rural Greece.

My thoughts are, a small 4>6 capacity box would be enough. I'm curious if anyone has added a supplementary fuse box and where you positioned it? I could just swap the horn in theory, but so far i haven't even located the original/s. On my E71 they are both just behind the O/S foglight panel, but not so on the E70

They are shown as being one either side and behind the trim panel below the two fog lights.

In the past I have used an in line fuse to a relay +ve with a line to ground. The ‘trigger wire’ is tapped into whatever it is you want triggered (horn, lights etc) and the relay ‘out’ then goes to the device (horn, lights).

I just mount the relay somewhere out of the weather and run the wires as needed. You can tap the 12V supply from the jump point under the bonnet.

A small plastic box will do fine, and make sure you use grommets to keep the weather out. If you can find a waterproof box with a rubber sealing gasket then even better, but you still need to prevent water getting in via the cabling.

This is curious though, as i know already this vehicle is not necessarily as officialdom would have me beleive. Having previously accessed the front foglights to switch the bulbs to LEDs, and having seen the techie working in the headlight washer void, no snail horn shapes came into view.

I'll have to have another look.
