Gents,

Any one swapped out the front indicator bulbs on a 2004 face lift model..

One e-bay seller says they are the standard orange bayonet fit bulb, the other says there is a flat plastic connector on the base of the bulb...

Any one know for sure which bulbs, as the plastic ended bulbs are a ferocious price...

Realoem shows it as one of these silvered, metal based, bayonet cap 21W bulbs.

Check it by putting the last 7 characters of you VIN (format is AB12345) into Realoem database and that will find your car model.  It's a copy of the BMW parts system, and is up to date.

I've replaced my amber bulbs with the silver coated ones. Straight forward and they are the normal bayonet style.
