When I first got mine I was used to a discovery so the x5 felt taught and pokey as f##k!
Our other car is an SLK and while on paper its over half a second quicker 0-60, it feels slower everywhere especially midrange. The x5 is a great road car posing as an off roader. I just hope it earns its stripes in the snow, cos the green laning days are over until I can justify an x5 and an old td5 disco as well as her slk which by then will have become a twin turbo z4...
