2010 E70 X5 - Squeaking Noise from rear of car

Rear rose bushes with the suspension inflated nothing moves try standing on the sill and rocking the car side to side
The next symptom will be increased camber and inner tyre wear

E70 ride height warning

  I am old school (very) but as an engineer I have learned to work in both (Farenhieght and Groats) :D BMW say measure vertically through the wheel centre, bottom of rim to wheel arch should be 725mm (28.5")

So your measurement 31" = 787.4mm from the ground vertically through wheel centre ...

Providing there are no faults recorded and stored using INPA/ISTA you should be able to recalibrate the suspension height, if I recall it should measure 725mm bottom of rim to wheel arch +/- 5%

E70 3.0D cutting out

A test of resilience  Still as one of my sons said " that car is keeping you fit and bendy" not sure myself some days I walk like C3PO
But in my opinion compared to the E53's the E70 is a step backwards in accessibility for just about everything and every part.
At least your up and ...

E70 ride height warning

The rear ride height sensors are around the height of the hub centre at the back of the wheel arch with a ramp you could get at them from underneath but I don't have that luxury :D So wheel off was the only sensible way to get at it, removing the plug was a faff due to road dirt and crud clean and ...

Oh Ohh hope that wasn't me putting the mockers on it

Battery drain ... fuel system related

I have just replaced the Terminal 30g relay in a friends E70 which was suffering battery drain, the 30g terminal was showing up on ISTA as faulty.
It seems to have cured his issue, the replacement was through a BMW Main Dealer and seemed to take ages to arrive
