Getting Dragged Around!

Yep!
That time of year again where we get dragged from pillar to post for the Christmas shopping! So let's see. We act as chauffeur, bag carrier and mobile banker! ::).
Now I ensure we start at a suitably good greasy spoon for the fry to set me up for the tasks ahead. And while following the women folk around I took this little shot of Belfast City Hall. You will see its in shade as the big bright ball of fire is still raging in the sky's where it's been for over a week now! Folk round here think this is a sign and the end of the world is neigh.
Enjoy your weekend and if like me you are getting dragged around, chin up and think of all the good times ahead.

Oh Gawd!! I forgot it was Dec 1 :cry1: :cry1:
And this year will be worse as she says she's pregnant so I need to do more shopping support with her.....as she may not be able to do it on her own...... :'(
I absolutely hate shopping. I'm horribly organised, know exactly what I need and where to get it. Mrs X5Sport however is totally disorganised and spends hours going through all sorts of shops, only to end up back at the first one and buys the goods there!! The reason....'well I had to check the others just in case'.....is what I'm usually told.
After 18 years I still hate shopping!!

I always treat shopping like a combat mission - get in there, get what you want asap and get the heck back out! If possible set off some sort of scare to clear the decks first ...

I've done mine already. Just a voucher to buy for sis in law and that's that. Wifey welcome to go off all day on her Todd as I can offski to play some ice golf uninterrupted

I haven't told her that shes buying my ACS bonnet slats yet though. Perhaps I'll just knock it off her allowance and simply pay her the balance!!

on the subject of shoppin i have to say this as well - she keeps amusing me..
hole on the bumper last mon, which was a mega pain but by now i've mentally recovered from it... althought ehe car hasn't!
yesterday she drove off with my kids on xmas shoppin plus we had a party in the ev so to buy some gifts..
i was happily servicing my other love - the cycle i use daily. my beauty!
got a panic call 'this car won't start, the key is locked and won't turn!!!'
me: 'calm down, just try turning the key backwards, and they try to start as normal again'
she: 'i've been trying that it just wont turn <and a another burst about something else>'
me; 'ok look, just calm down, make sure the gear shift is in P, turn the key back all the way, and try again'
she: 'oh thank god!' and the line ended.
to be fair i've never liked autos so this is our first auto, but then we've had this car for over a year now
