LOL! Straight to the point there fella!
Sometimes i'm unsure of the looks...i go from liking it to, to not liking it, all the time.
Loved the E60, but i do reckon it's a step in the right direction. M-Sport looks fab.

5 days is just enough to get a reasonable dent repaired. Any confessions to make 535dboy?

Ha ha - thanks for asking after me then, git!
New tyres, wheel refurb and front and rear pads.
Wanted it for two days, so booked in Monday and Tuesday
I'm on the road early on monday and I was just a few miles away from dealer today so agreed to swap today

How does it compare to the E60?
Your E60 would have been pre-LCi, so power must be pretty much on par now is it not? I realise handling won't be quite as grippy.

That is almost 3 years ago now my E61!
As you say mine was pre-LCI which meant 272 I think (I remapped mine by dMS though

) but as you say the stats for 60 etc (pre map) are very similar
It feels very brisk but it has been wet around here today so not much chance to really play, either with speed or handling.
However, at half throttle drive off a wet roundabout it gave a massive wiggle from the rear which was a bit worrying. I am hoping for the car's sake that there was some diesel or something on the road because that is worrying if there wasn't!

Lol at the DMS...must have been "interesting"!
This was the problem to me. I LOVE torque and power(being used to Subaru's for years), but with RWD, i find not being able to use the power whenever i want, a bit of a PITA. If only we got an X-Drive version, i'd jump on that wagon. Putting the 530D in the missus hands was a bit of a clench your teeth moment...especially last winter.
I read not that long ago, there has been a hint of X-Drive models coming to the UK, as they are already in Europe, but it means making a right hand drive version and that's where the money spent, becomes tricky for BMW. God knows what it would do to the asking price of them.

I agree, I would also jump on the X-Drive wagon if the brought it to the UK.
I'm not sure on the F10 just yet... its the same with all new BMW's - they just get better looking over time. They have this nack of just adding small changes such as wheels or slightly different bumpers and it makes all the difference.
Turks.
