Ever since I bought my X5 a bloke at work as said that he's going to buy one, he as just passed me a printed paper of a car he's looking at.

So did a little research and found it on

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/used-cars/b ... 5462883784

Now me my self would not bother because the specs not good enough, I've told him to get more info on the replace box and transfer case, also asked him to get more info on the CAT D, what was fix replace and who's fixed it, and pics if pos.

But does anybody on here no of the car, and what advise should i give him.

Cheers

The AT link isn't working so can't comemt on that particular car. However going by what you say I'd tell your mate to move on to find a genuine vehicle with and without previous insurance history, Cat reg'ed cars are just not worth the hassle IMO.

Strong money for a very basic car with dubious history. Can't see any point or reason to buy IMO

I wouldn't touch it. Plenty of good ones out there. Some aftermarket wheels are OK, but others look good but cannot cope well with the weight of the car and crack.

Spec looks basic as has been said.

Ok cheers guys

Can't really see the alloys from the phone, but look chrome. I my self am not a big fan of chrome wheels.

Will inform him not to bother

I'll also ask what his budget is

Cheers
