DVD Headrest FM antenna location?

Just installing my DVD headrest screens, running all the cables to the boot, with the cables there is a FM antenna cable, wheres best to put this? up the seat? or try to connect to oem stereo antenna? if so where would this oem antenna connection be?

I just put mine in the seat and it works for me !!

I think the VHF radio aerial is built onto the glass of the nearside rear window.

Ideally the best position for another aerial would be external but that probably isn't an option. If you can find where the OEM aerial plugs into the radio receiver then it may be possible to split the feed. The receiver may be in the boot somewhere, close to the battery if memory serves correctly. You may get some signal loss, but the signal would probably still be etter than runnng it up the back of a seat or side pillar. A lot will depend on how good your local signals are. Around her they're rubbish as our nearest transmitter is 40 miles away. DAB is fine, but VHF poor. TV is stonking as the Tx is just over a mile away.. :D
