First Aid Kit Shelf-Life

Morning all. As far as I am aware, the first aid kit in my F25 is original - ie. 13 years old. I'm assuming this is well beyond the shelf-life, but I can't find any indication on the pouch or any of the contents - none of which have ever been used.

As I'm planning a European road-trip next spring, I'm starting to think about the legalities. I've got 2 warning triangles and 2 hi-viz waistcoats (only 2 of us going). I'll be getting a fire extinguisher, a couple of breathalizers, and a UK sticker.

Does anyone have any idea of the shelf-life of the first aid kit? Something is telling me 10 years. As there is no indication on the kit, I'm kind-of tempted not to replace it and, if necessary, plead ignorance. At least I've got one in the car...........

What do you think?...........

No idea, I just bought a new one from Boots and put it in the car. 10 years might be a bit long though.

You no longer need breathalysers in France.

I did get a UK sticker (and removed it again) as my number plates now have the blue UK symbol (stuck over the old GB/Euro symbols). Those UK labels are a mare to get off again. I ended up warming with a hair dryer and gently pulling away. Doing it cold just shredded the damned thing!
