[quote=""X5Sport""]That's good to know...
I've got the same pump now but haven't used it as the weather has been foul! How did the pump react to the PW being on and off, or did you only run the pump when the PW was also in use? What distance between the two? I think Karcher recommend a minimum of 7.5m.
I had thought about suspending the pump just above the bottom via a piece of rope between the pump's handle and a wood or metal bar (I will have an RCD in circuit so it's safe) across the top of the butt as that would also keep the grunge out.....

The pump work well with the PW (it's about 110 bar). Had to let it pump through first. Only ran it when using PW. Also from pump to PW about a 1.5m in distance but it worked well. The pump also has an auto mode - very trick but I just used manual mode.
The on off is safe and the power supply is long enough although connected to extension lead as well as PW then connected to the garage out of harms way. But think will use a tray or dish at bottom of pump to avoid debris in filter.
Also amazed at how little water it used and I rinsed car kfirst then put auto glum body wash on car via PW then after washing rinsed off? I couldn't measure how much but about 5cm of the butt best estimate 20 litres.
Best bit it was legal so if neighbours complain no probs
