I hope I am... not sure about pictures though, don't like to take photos of my cars - had minor accident in my previous one right after I took a picture. Call me superstitious ;(

yep I collected car this afternoon, spent over 3 hrs at dealer waiting for car to be checked, navigation code, tracker installation etc etc. It's end of the month and they are very busy.
First impression - it's so big comparing to my crv. Haven't played with all the features yet but for now already can't play iphone music over bluetooth - usd only and BMW online could not connect.
Will play with all settings over the weekend.
One question though - I have Business Audio and there is no equalizer settings, only bass and treble - is that how it should be for business audio?
cheers

Great that you've got the car - how are you finding it, other than bigger than the CRV??!! I shouldn't worry about the BMW assist (I think that's what you're referring to). I've heard that it takes a few days or even a week to activate. Some dealers set it up sufficient time ahead of collection, others don't. Re the eq someone else can tell you whether the business hifi is supposed to have one, but as an ex audiophile the high end hifi I bought years ago doesn't even have tone adjust let alone an eq - in my view eq's are a bit naff and tend to notch the quality down - you're better off listening to it as the producer intended. Hope you really enjoy the car!!

guys sorry for not posting pics, feel really guilty... I might decide to take some once I change front grilles

@MJim not worried about equalizers more that I got standard audio instead of business but i like the sound and there is a speaker in the middle of the dashboard. Will count speakers tonight to be sure :).
The car is awesome to drive. Feels big, solid, stable and quick. Wife loves it too. Despite I told her many times about all cool features on X5 she she keeps admiring them now...

Great to hear you're enjoying your car!! Maybe a quick run up to Scotland and back this weekend to run it in??! Also great to hear your wife is enjoying it so all positive there! Fully understand re wanting to ensure you've got the hifi you ordered - but if it sounds good then you must have ;) . Apparently the standard one sounds very poor. Will also improve with use as speakers always take a bit of breaking in. Very jealous - still another couple of weeks to go for me, and starting to be a bit painful!! Enjoy the weekend with your new toy!! :driving: :D

Congratulations - didn't realise that you had a baby on the way! I'm sure the car will be perfect with all the clobber you'll be needing!

Congratulations on both fronts. :D :D

I agree with these things being big too! It was not until I got my E71 home and it would not go through the garage door being both wider than the aperture and longer than the garage, that I realised just how much bigger theses new E7x cars really are when compared to the E53 (which went in and fitted too).

No doubt you will be spending hours looking through the manuals and playing with the toys too :D :driving:

Went to Eastbourne on the week-end, 2 hrs driving each way and we had to do only one stop. All I can say it's a great car, comfy, responsive, amazing handling for SUV... Apparently other half was not as tired as she initially expected to be after 4hrs trip.
The only problem is to get onto the narrow bridges where you have to squeeze between 2 poles and be careful enough not to scratch 20" alloys...

did not realise that E70 much bigger than E53
