It means doing this You Tube video example to your car.......gets all the loose surface dirt and grit off.  Then jet wash off and you're ready for the 2 Bucket Clean.. :)

No......it's the latest version of the semi-pro unit which is available from here.  The earlier version is probably still about though, and it looks like this beast.  There are no instructions with it and so the adjuster valve is a bit of a guess in terms of setting.  I use mine fully closed and it's just fine.  1-litre of concentrate will do an X, but I use it at 50% mix.

I also have the one you list but it's not all that good as it has no adjustments. It's good for getting a car wash detergent sprayed on though.

Raj uses a different foam concentrate which I (a) can't remember -age related brain fade - and (b) will use  next time when he tells us what it is.

And those bonnet catches still need some 'attention'.... >:D :))

I joined detailing world and got the autobrite group buy deal for the heavy duty snow foam lance and a 50ml of magifoam concentrate.
I use 100ml of concentrate then top up to a litre

I have the original version of THIS one. The AB one is superb and mines been going strong for quite a number of years.

As for the actually snowfoam, I use AutoBrites again. Their Magifoam is really thick and goes on a treat. I fill the lance bottle to about a third full with Magifoam which will cover the whole X with a decent coat of very thick foam. The adjuster is usually set to fully open (so as to pull the maximum amount of Magifoam from the bottle to mix with the pressure washer water flow).

That's the one I have as well.

I use about a quarter to a third of the AB Magifoam with the adjuster full open too, and can give the X a good coverage including wheel arches, and have just enough left to give the E46 a quick going over (usually needs doing as it inevitably gets splattered whilst doing the X). Damn good stuff if you ask me.  The DI - top tool, saves an age of work on a hot day.

Was pi$$ed right off earlier when after coming home from town after about an hour or so, I noticed that a bird had dispatched its lunch onto the roof etc of the X. I immediately wiped it off with a wet wipe followed by some bug and tar remover before using Wolf quick detailer, but it had already etched into the clear coat despite being glazed and with 2 coats of Dodo Supernatural hybrid.  Not impressed! What the heck do birds eat nowadays thats so acidic?
Going to have to machine polish it out now :((

Rant over, sorry for the hijack ;)
