There are some scary statistics too.......according to the IAM & DfT, 62% of young, male novices think they're a better than average driver. One third of all occupant injuries/fatalities are in cars driven by young males between 17-24 and male drivers between 17 and 29 are TWICE as likely to be killed or seriously injured than the equivalent female group. No wonder insurance is getting so expensive for that group.
I know when I was in my teens/early twenties I used to think I was a Driving God, now in my fifties I know I am.............
