4.8IS/Roush Wheels and Tyres

Hi Guys,
really dont know if this is in the right section so sorry to the admins in advance!

basically i visited my garage last night only to find it had been broken into, from i can see they had a few bits away the main ones being the original wheels from both my cars and my directors wifes car so thats original 20" 4.8is wheels with michelin diamaris on the fronts (pretty worn) and Toyo Proxes on the rears (in pretty good nick) a set of 18" chrome Roush Mustang wheels i cant remember what tyres were on those but budgets of some form once again farily worn all round, and a set of i think 17" VW alloys, im hoping the first two are obscure enough that they'll be spotted ill of course be keeping a look out in all the usual places, but just asking that if anyone happens to spot any of the above please let me know as naturally i want my stuff back i have a suspicion they'll probably be for sale in the east london area, but i could well be wrong, any help would be much appreciated

Sorry to hear of this.

Apologies if this is stating the obvious but keep regular eye on ebay, gumtree, exchange & mart & friday ad etc.

Could be in any number of secondhand alloy sellers shops but trying to locate & identify these could be a near impossible task.

Some people are very thick though and go straight for the ebay route, you never know if you are lucky.

Not too sure what you could do if you do spot them for sale though.

Hi guys, just so you know i have all 3 sets of wheels back in my possesion,
spotted at a local tyre shop so i threw them straight in my van, but thanks to everyone!

I presume that you informed the Police before putting them in your van... I know I would just throw them in without thinking about it but for some reason the Law seems to protect the theif! Best to do things above board.

No News on the thieving scum, the guy at the shop claims it was just some passers by who sold him a number of wheels and tyres who he dosent know....i suspect he probably has a little deal going with them but that is just me....sounds likely though, and tbh Turks i didnt inform the police at the time, the shop owner was co-operative enough and said he knows he has no choice but to give them back (after i told him tyre sizes/makes and showed him pictures of the cars with those wheels on them) so i loaded up and was on my way.....as a result if anyone wants some 4.8IS wheels and tyres you'll find them shortly in the for sale section...i guess im happy enough with the X6 Yspokes

I would still have been round the local police station and had a chat. Bet they already know about the shop.
