BMW Winter Wheel recommendations 2010: E53 and E70

I thought I'd post up the official BMW wheel /tyre combos for 2010 - I have a brand new off-the-press brochure:

E53 (not the 4. 235/65-17104H Continental 4x4 Winter Contact tyres. 7.5J X17 Star Spoke 57 style rims

E53 High Performance / 4.8 255/55-18105H Dunlop Grandtrek WTM2 tyres. 8J X18 Star Spoke 99 style rims

E70 255/55-18109HXL Continental 4x4 Winter SSR RSC 8.5J X 18 Cross spoke style 177 rims.

E70 255/50-19107VXL Goodyear Ultra Grip ROF RSC 9J X 19 Y spoke 211 rims.

Mind you, dealer prices start at around £2000 for a 17" package. The dealer I bought my 4.8 from quoted £300 per tyre for the 255/55R18 tyres and nearly £2000 for a new set of style 99 rims In any case, I prefer my Vredesteins as their performance was faultless, but everyone at some stage seems to ask the question as to what the wheel and tyre size and combos are, so here they are!!!
