Time-Lapse Film - Thai Sunset

Some of you may know that we recently visited Phuket in Thailand, and others may know that I am a very keen semi-professional photographer........anyway, enough of the b/s.

The link below is to a time lapse sequence that I assembled from one of the sunset sequences that I shot over a period of about an hour one evening.

For those who are curious about the hardware used, I use a Canon EOS 5D MkII and for this sequence the camera tripod mounted, fitted with 24-105mm L-series lens and was set in Manual Focus, Aperture Priority mode at F10 and connected to a Canon TC-80N3 controller set to trigger every 30 seconds. I think this sequence comprises 380 frames shot in JPEG at about 12MP rather than the full 21.1 that the 5D is capable of. I know the sequence isn't perfect, but it was my first attempt. Hope some of you enjoy it.........

That is just brilliant, well done.
I have the same lens fitted on a 7D.
May give this a try on my summer hols.
