I'd wonder why it even needed 6 injectors. It's the rear 2 can get wet and play up. 4k is about the money now for that age .

Thanks, seems cheap compared a lot of ads I have seen. Not that that means those ads were going rate. And of course its easy to see sale prices as market value when stuff rarely sells for asking price! Does seem a whole lotta car for the money all the same!Leslie wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 9:47 pm I'd wonder why it even needed 6 injectors. I was told by someone that the only ones worth having are the Bosch ones due to that Piezo crystal, something about Bosch being the only company than can produce them due to the tech needed in production. Just what I heard FWIWX5Sport wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 6:11 pm BMW might charge you £1k/injector but they’re around £350 each for Bosch and there are other brands available.

Morning
This is a job I did not long ago I changed all 6 Injectors (Bosch) and all 6 Glow Plugs and Controller (Beru) my parts bill including new gaskets was £1300. I got a deal on the injectors (list was £218) providing they got the old ones for refurbishment.
I could have brought refurbished injectors and saved about a third on the cost I also could have changed just the dead one and saved about £800
My decision was change everything to avoid having to revisit, all things considered I don't think it was that expensive just avoid BMW marked up prices
