Re: 4.8is and high mileage?

Had mine for about 6 months now and had a few issues. Brake pipes pulleys etc etc but each time the bill was really reasonable. No more expensive than any othe car i have owned. Get yourself a good independent. Mine drives bmws and his wife has a 4.4 so he is great at finding the issue and resolving ...

22 inch split rims for sale

These came off my 2005 x5. One tyre brand new but budget. 2 fairly decent tread. One is very close to be replacing.

They have a few nicks, but generally in good condition. Need a good condition.

I believe these are spia split rims. New cost is stupid money.

Looking for £750 quick sale.

Prefer ...

Re: Drivers handle

Me too, but it was the passenger side - opened, it was abit stiff, just thought frozen and then would not shut/latch. not good as needed to go work - got it shut and now wont open or close from the inside or out. Off to find a fix, glad work is quiet, time to trawl the net, seems to be a common ...

Re: e53 2005 tailgate/numberplate part wanted

No chrome on my car.  So will have to be spray piano black or body colour.  £116 from dealer.  It's going to have to wait.  One side works.  Had a expensive month on cars so it can wait until the new year.

e53 2005 tailgate/numberplate part wanted

Anyone have a tailgate handle.  Part number 51137170676.  One of my bulb holders is completely shot so need to replace whole strip.  It is for a 4.8 2005  but take a guess that part should be the same for all models.

Re: New Member: 4.8is Imola Red 43000KM

Welcome and congratulations on your car. I have an imola red and love it. It is a bit in your face colour and not everyone's cup of tea you certainly won't get missed. Mine started with 22 inch split rims. Just swapping to standard 20s. Looks much better. I got a great set off someone on here. So ...

Re: A Downside of X5 Ownership

It's not just x5 that get this reaction. Most of my previous cars have had the comments. The worst was my Z4M. Lots of garbage off people and then even worse you had the corsa Halford pimped cars shouting out the window I can beat that car any day. Wrong attention from jealous people and idiot door ...

Re: transmission failsafe progam

The problem with using a battery conditioner is that the X5 is parked on the road the jag gets the drive. So cannot have it trailing across the pavement and don't want to disconnect every morning. My current house drive only fits one car. Or would the one you suggest be ideal to use on a weekend to ...

transmission failsafe progam

After getting my X5 checked and a few bits sorted been really happy with it.. Today on the way home the transmission failsafe mode came on. I am hoping it's the battery. I am going to buy a volt checker tomorrow. I only drive 6 miles a day and tend to have the heated seats on etc etc and wonder if ...
