BMW navigation has always been terrible in my opinion. It's the only thing I've ever hated about any of my bmws

I've got comfort seats in my E70 and I think they're brilliant. I had extended leather in my last M3 and it was really nice, especially as it was a lighter contrasting colour (palladium). The comfort seat are just so... Well comfortable.

I have been caught many years ago using the phone, in fact it was only months after they started issuing points for it. Since then I have learned my lesson and it's become a pet hate. A bit like the smoker that's given up lol

A couple of pictures of my previous M3's. Traded the E92 in for my E70 and still miss it.

I think the E46 was one of nicest BMWs ever made and still looks good now, although so does the E30.

It does compated to todays but if you have cars of the same age say a 2001 x5 next to ...

No, I don't use any chemicals on my wheels, the laquer on BMW wheels just doesn't seem able to withstand anything harsh. I just use soap and water.

I had it in my last M3 and it was handy when I was waiting for the wee fella to come out from school and stuff. I wouldn't pay £1500 for it though.

Is it possible to retrofit the tv option on the E70 LCI, is it just a case of getting a digital tuner and aerials etc?

Ive just had a full set of 20s replaced under warranty from the dealer for the same reason. The polished rims are very difficult to repair

I almost broke the missus' legs when she got in the back at the dealer.

Can you get smartphone compatibility installed by the dealer at a later date? My car doesn't have it fitted.

Yeah, it's basically the normal apple cable to USB but it has a 3.5mm jack as well for the headphone socket. When I used the apple cable in my M3 I couldn't get the sound to play, although that was the old style idrive system
